SIMPSON, George W., age 84, of Hamilton, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and a sister. George is survived by his beloved wife, Betty, of 61 ½ years; daughter, Sherry (Denny) Schwegman; sons, Bill Simpson, Randy (Stephanie) Simpson; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 5 step-great grandchildren; sisters, Helen (Buddy) Cecil, Louise (Howard) Norris; and many other relatives and friends. George was a WWII veteran and member of the American Legion. He retired from Fisher Body and worked part time as a security guard at Ohio Casualty until the age of 82. He was a member of the Horseshoe Bend Baptist Church.
