Glenna Bowling

Glenna Bowling, age 81, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born on February 22, 1937 in Perry County, Kentucky to Ernest and Louise (Couch) Kilburn. On December 20, 1954 she married William Bowling. Glenna was a devoted member of St. Peter in Chains. She loved her church and enjoyed country music. Glenna is survived by her husband of 63 years; children William Jr., Elizabeth (David) Skelton, James (Frances) Bowling, Jacqueline Bowling (Steve Ward), John Bowling; 16 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant son Joseph Anthony Bowling; and sisters Clara Jones and Martha Walsh. Gathering will be held from 11am to 12pm on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Memorial Ceremony will follow at 12pm with Denny Williams officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. The family suggests contributions be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Ave, Hamilton, OH 45013.
