Knight, Gordon Lacy, 89, passed away January 7, 2014. Gordon was a retired security guard, welder, and machinist and an Army and Navy Veteran who served in the Korean conflict. He was a former member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and a current member of Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church. Gordon was a wonderful Christian man and a loving dad. Gordon was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Burnett Knight. His survivors include his children, Gerald Knight (Willa), Sharon Cook (Dennis), Deborah Sparks (Keith) and Regina Anspach (Ben Morgan); his friend, Norene; and his grandchildren, Brandy, Jana, Tamara, Tiffany, Kayla, Brian, and always helpful grandson, Joey. Gordon also had 10 great-grandchildren. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church.
