Helen Newton, age 74 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016. She was born on March 22, 1942 in Blue Diamond, KY, the daughter of the late Frank and Edna (Lewis) Owens. On June 22, 1963 in Hamilton, Helen married her husband of over 53 years, Harry D. Newton. She retired from the Linen Room at Mercy Hospital Fairfield in 2007 after 44 years and was a member of Church in Jesus. Helen is survived by her husband, Harry; sons, Wally Couch and his wife Courtney and B.J. Campbell; and grandchildren, Colten Couch and Cody Couch and his wife Ashley. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, George Owens, Lillian Eldridge, Norma Jean Stidham, Phyllis Eldridge, Charles Owens and Betty Collins. Visitation will be held from 6pm until 7pm on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the funeral home with Brother Arnold Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
