Herman Lee, age 72, of Hamilton, died at Wellington Manor on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. He was born in London, Kentucky, on May 12, 1939, the son of the late Powell and Hazel (Marcum) Lee. On July 2, 1957, in Liberty, Indiana, Herman married his wife of over 27 years, Barbara F. Coffey, and she preceded him in death on March 24, 1985. He was a Greenskeeper for 28 years with the City of Hamilton Parks and Recreation and a Kentucky Colonel. Herman is survived by two sons, Allen Lee and Tony Lee; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters. Herman was also preceded in death by two brothers. A visitation will be held at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton, from 5-7pm on Friday, July 1, 2011. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 1pm at Spradlin Cemetery in Kentucky.
