

Howard W. "Hoppy" Bush, age 69 of Ross, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Friday, September 13, 2013. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 28,1943, the son of Ralph J. and Belle L. (Scott) Bush. A graduate of Garfield High School class of 1961, he worked as a printer at the Hamilton Journal News and Cincinnati Enquirer and was co-owner of Affordable Composing and Typesetting. He was a member of Benjamin Franklin Lodge #719 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati 32nd Degree and NMLRA. Since early childhood he portrayed cowboys, namely Hopalong Cassidy, and throughout life was passionate about civil war history and participating in reenactments. He is survived by a son, Howard B. Bush and his wife Michelle; daughter, Brenda M. Bush; granddaughter, Madeline Bush; and his loving companion, Bonnie Topits. Funeral Services will be held at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue and South D Street, Hamilton at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 with Mr. George Daniel officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
