Imogene E. Scofield Goos

Imogene E. Goos, age 93 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Berkeley Square. Imogene was born on July 16, 1921 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Lyle and Grace (James) Scofield. She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1940. On September 29, 1943 in Covington, KY, Imogene married her husband of over 46 years, Robert A. Goos, and he preceded her in death on January 8, 1990. She worked as a secretary at the family business, L.E. Scofield Window and Door for 20 years. Imogene is survived by her son, Paul R. Goos; granddaughter, Ashley Elizabeth Goos (Justin Baldwin); Ashley’s mother, Joellyn Goos; sister-in-law, Mary Frances Durbin; devoted niece, Candee (Butch) Jeffries; nieces, Joyce Magly (Phyllis Scales) and Cindy (Ted) Brown; devoted great-nephew and great-niece, Chuck (Stephanie) Friend and Jodi Johnson (Paul Rossi); devoted great-great-nephew, Ethan Johnson; special friend, Marilyn Wilson; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her infant son, Eric Goos; and siblings, Blair Scofield and Melva “Babe” (Don) DuVall. Private Services were held at the convenience of the family.
