James Graydon Lawson

James G. Lawson, age 74 of Trenton, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at his residence. He was born on August 10, 1948 in Cincinnati, the son of the late Harold and Diana (Gibbs) Lawson. Jimmy was a retired machinist from OPW Engineer Systems and a member of Tri-County Church of the Nazarene. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Regina (Barkley) Lawson; children, Davina (William) Price, Amber (Dustin) Elam, Danielle (Justin) Gambrel, James Lawson II and Shawn Lawson; grandchildren, Taylor (Aleena) Lawless, Remmi Price, Destiny, Kaylie and Kenadie Elam, Brady, Grace and Hunter Kendall, Parker, Thor and Lola Gambrel, Emma Hurst and James Lawson III; great granddaughter, Aurora Lawson; siblings, Harold (Linda) Lawson Jr. and Diane (Rick) Evans and a special niece Crystal (John) Driscoll. He was also preceded in death by his son, Kyle Hurst, granddaughter, Aubrey Hurst; and his brothers, John, Russell and Samuel Lawson. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Funeral ceremony will be held at 11am on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the funeral home with Dr. Tom Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
