James "Jimmy" Earl Payne

PAYNE, James Earl “Jimmy”, age 67, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 16, 1957 to Orvida Jo and Joel Payne Sr. Jimmy was married for 38 years to Tonya Payne, worked in construction most of his life, served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam, devoted father who loved all children, enjoyed camping, fishing, playing pool, going to the casino, would help anyone, never met a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, David Payne (Tiffany); sisters, Anetta Grubbs (Bill), Mildred Louise Payne; brothers, Joel Payne Jr., Kenneth Payne (Dixie).

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Tonya S. Payne; daughters, Heidi Adkins, Christy House, Jamie Payne (William), Tasha Bastin; sons, Curtis Ashcraft, Damon Payne; fifteen grandchildren; brothers, Aaron Payne (Casey), Darren Payne (Tina). He will be loved and cherished by a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 10:00 am until Funeral Services at 11:00 am at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Rev. James Love Jr., officiating.
