

Jean Anne Gumm, age 70, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash. She was born on November 12, 1954, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Ralph Walker and Betty Jo (Beatty) Walker. Jean retired from Vulcan Waterproofing after 20 years as a dedicated Administrative Assistant. She was a proud patriot who deeply loved her family and cherished the time spent with her loved ones. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Gary Michael Gumm; her son Chris (Rebecca) Gumm; her daughter Amy Gumm; and her adored grandchildren Sydnee Gumm, Lily Gumm, Tyler (Hannah) Spencer, and Jake Spencer. Jean was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Lucas and Sage Spencer. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Karen Walker and Margie Walker; nieces, Jennifer (Ronnie) Sandlin and Rachel (Cody) Timming; and nephews, Greg (Karen) Walker and Kyle (Gayle) Walker. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Lynney Walker and David Walker. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will follow at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Jean’s nephew, Pastor Greg Walker. Interment will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Jean will be remembered for her unwavering love of family, her dedication to her work, and her strong patriotic spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
