Jesse Neil Smith 91 of Oxford, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 19 with his family at his side. Jesse was born July 18, 1933 in Mixerville, IN to the late Harmon and Edna (Graven) Smith, also preceding him death were his beloved wife of 67 years, Leola Smith in 2018, his brother Jim Smith and great-grandchildren Daniel and Rickydoo.
Jesse leaves to cherish his memory, son Dennis (Nancy) Smith, daughter Cindy Smith; grandchildren Tammy (Steve) Sunderman, Jimmy (Lisa) Smith, Jason Smith, Jennifer (Tre) Gillespie, Robin (Chris) Condron, Ryan (Melanie) Smith, Rachel (Bryan) Urban, Charlotte (Mike) Pritz), Ricky (Jen) Blackwill, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Jesse was retired from Beckett Paper Company. He joined the Reily Fire Departmenmt in 1959 and was chief from 1983 – 1987, Jesse was also a past member and Deacon at Stahlheber Baptist Church.
There will be a visitation, Saturday March 8 at Stahlheber Baptist Church, 1800 Stahlheber Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013 starting at 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm. Luncheon to follow at church.
