Kay E. Wright, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 17, 2025. Kay was born Jun 19, 1944 in Somerville, Ohio to the late Walter and Martha (Cox) Wates; also preceding her death were her son Steven Wright, siblings Gary Wates and her twin brother Ken Wates and her beloved dog Ruby.
Kay's memory will be cherished by her beloved husband of 61 years Douglas "Doug" Wright, son Scott (Darlene) Wright, granddaughter Kaylin (Patrik) Longfellow, daughter-in-law Kim Wright, numerous friends.
Kay was a graduate of Talawanda High School class of 1962, she had worked at banks in Hamilton and Ross areas. She loved bowling, animals, nature and music, but especially loved her family.
Her family will receive friends at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton Thursday, May 29 starting at 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Following services, Kay will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Burial Park.
