Laura Davidson Smith

Laura Smith, age 81 of Middletown, passed away at the Inn at Renaissance Village on Sunday, July 21, 2013. Laura was born on August 25, 1931 in Clay County, KY, the daughter of the late Felix and Ada (Asher) Davidson. On October 19, 1957 in Lawrenceburg, IN she married her husband of over 46 years, James H. Smith, and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2003. Laura is survived by her son, James C. (Glynda) Smith; grandchildren, Heather A. (Joseph) Kerstanoff, Nicholas J. (Courtney) Smith, Shastina M. (Mark) Donnelly and Natasha M. Smith; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Willie R. Davidson, Geneva Webb, Elbert Davidson, Martha Curro and Eula Barron; many nieces and nephews; and all of the residents and staff at the Inn at Renaissance Village. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Gregory A. Smith; and siblings, Jewel Stelter, Troy Davidson and Ernest Eversole. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 11am at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton with Pastor Rick Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 9am until 11am at the funeral home.
