Leonard F. Parker, age 77 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016.He was born in Jackson County, KY on September 28, 1938 to Homer and Rhoda (Ferguson) Parker. In 1960 in Hamilton, he married Betty Parker, who preceded him in death in 1993. Leonard retired from Wirtz Trucking and Rigging in 1995, where he had worked for over 38 years.

He is survived by a daughter, Shelley (Jon) Holliday; sons, Richard Parker, Jeffrey Parker, and Buddy (Cynthia) Parker; a daughter-in-law, Janice Parker; a companion, Faye Sibcy; brother, Lester (Bertha) Parker; sisters, Loretta Allen, Louise (Coy) Davidson, and Mae Williams; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Parker; a son, Lonnie Ray Parker; 2 sisters, Larnalee Ivy, Laura McBee; and his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 11:00 AM at 1:00 PM. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com.
