Maxine I. Boyle, age 90 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Ft Hamilton Hospital. She was born on October 21, 1929 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Ertly and Iona (Cochran) Roszell. On September 23, 1948, she married Fred H. Boyle Jr. and he preceded her in death on April 2, 1997. Maxine graduated from Fairfield High School and had worked in food service for Talawanda Schools and worked for Piece Goods Fabric Store. She was a member of the American Sewing Guild, Quilting Club and former member of Redeemer United Church of Christ. Maxine volunteered at Ft. Hamilton Hospital, where she made outfits for the stillborn babies and turbans for the cancer patients. She is survived by her two daughters, Terri (Tom) Johnson and Debbie (Danny) Witt; grandchildren, Josh (Dionna) Wendt, Miranda (Corbin) Zickefoose, Jade (Danny) Conatser, Megan (Paul) Shadle and David (Heather) Witt; great grandchildren, Hailey Anderson, Samantha Wendt, Caitlin Witt, Ada Zickefoose, Leo Conatser, Allison Zickefoose and Corwin Shadle. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Dale Roszell. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11am on Friday, October 2, 2020 at the funeral home with Pastor Kim Katterheinrich officiating. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
