Michael S. “Grumpy” Lissal, age 75 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Kettering Hospital. He was born in Butler County on August 22, 1948, the son of the late Robert and Bethel (Lambert) Lissal. On May 5, 1978, he married the love of his life, Clara Roseanne (Tendem) Lissal and she preceded him in death on February 29, 2008. Michael was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired truck driver. He is survived by his children, Anthony Lissal, Ciji Rearick and Caroline Lissal; grandchildren, Michael, Logan, Marcus, Mary, Alexis, Coleman, Troy and JoAnna; great granddaughter, Harmony; siblings, Robert (Linda) Lissal, Angie Hamilton, Brenda Turner, Trina (Stanley) Matter and Julie (Kevin) Dingledine; many nieces and nephews. Grumpy was also preceded in death by his children, Steven Lissal and Michaelina Lissal. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 10am-12pm at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, with services to follow at 12pm. Interment will be held at Millville Cemetery.
