Michael M. Osterberger

Michael M. Osterberger, age 64, of Trenton, died at his residence on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. He was born on November 28, 1947, in Richmond, Indiana, the son of the late Rene L. and Dora Lee (Howard) Osterberger. In Falmouth, Kentucky, on May 21, 1966, Michael married his wife of over 44 years, Corrine Hensley and she preceded him in death on May 1, 2011. He was a retired employee of Miami University and loved golf, fishing, playing guitar and spending time with his grandchildren. Michael is survived by his daughter, Gina Sergent; two grandchildren, Aaron (Jessica) Sergent and Kady Layne (Dustin) Sergent; three great- grandchildren, Olivia Laine, Brysonn and Corbin Dean; brother, Rene H. (Gayla) Osterberger; seven sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law, Lorene (the late Keith) Moore, Ruth (Johnny) Kidd, Dora (Rocky) Whicker, Nevada (Shady) Lovins, Woody (Duanna) Hensley, Montana Hensley and Dj Renee H.; numerous nieces and nephews including Rene “Skip” Osterberger; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Michael was also preceded in death by mother-in-law, Virginia Hensley. Michael is also survived by special friends, Paula and Chris Howard. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Avenue, Hamilton, at 10am on Monday, June 25, 2012. Entombment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park Mausoleum. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, June 24, from 2pm-5pm at the funeral home.
