Opal Hacker Miller

Age 97 of Lavista, Nebraska, formerly of Hamilton, passed away on Monday November 2, 2015 at Granville Assisted Living. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on June 9, 1918, the daughter of the late James and Arnetta (Isaccs) Hacker. Opal is survived by her two daughters, Shelva (Jack) Smith and Sylvia (Jerry) Jackson; grandchildren, Sheila Davis, Dana (Jackson) Updike, Melissa (Miller) Morrison, William Troy Jackson and Delaney Lee Miller; great grandchildren, Kyle, Kara and Kameron Updike, Rockford and Silas Morrison and Amber (McAdams) Albers; great great grandchildren, Savannah, Micah and Amara; sister Ardella Note; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Garlin Williams and Clayton H. Miller; son Donnie Lee Miller; two grandchildren, Vickie Jo Davis-Grubbs-Harris and Steven M. Davis; siblings, Denver, Morgan, Charles, Linwood, Jimmy and Marie Hacker. Funeral ceremony will be held at 12pm on Friday November 6, 2015 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to services on Friday from 10am to 12pm at the funeral home.
