Age 54 of Oxford, passed away suddenly October 1, 2014 from injuries sustained in a tragic auto accident. Born April 27, 1960 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of Bernard and Gloria Speedling both of whom pre-deceased her. She leaves behind her husband of 23 years, William (Hal) Manning Jr., to cherish her memory. A creative and talented person, she is remembered by her friends and family for her fun-loving outlook on life, her love of mystery stories and games of skill, and her special touches at all holiday meals. In addition to her four children, Alacia (Jeff) Lewis, Ashley Erskine, Michael and Carolyn Manning, she is survived by her grandchildren, Jeffrey Lee and Ian Thomas Lewis, by Silvia Ferrenberg who was like a daughter to her, by many, many friends, and by a large and loving extended family, including her sisters, Gail and Barbara. A memorial service celebrating her life is to be announced.
