Phillip O. Gerner

He was born on August 23, 1931 in Stevens Point, WI to the late Frank Sr. and Elsie {Gerlach} Gerner. Phillip attended Cheyenne, WY high school. He married Elizabeth Williams on July 20, 1968 in St. Cloud, MN. Phillip worked as a chef, truck driver over the road, and at Walmart. He was also an ordained minister.

Phillip is survived by his wife Elizabeth, of 51 years; children Gretchen Griffith (Timothy) of Monroe, OH, Natalie Ramsey (Peter) of Mt. Grove, MO, Michael Gerner (Lynette) of Silver Grove, KY; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Loretta, brothers Frank and Reinhold. Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 11am until 1pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home. Memorial Service will follow on Wednesday at 1pm at the funeral home.
