Randal Dean Richardson

Randal Dean Richardson, age 61 of Hamilton, went to be with his Lord at 3:07am on Friday, May 6, 2016. Born September 18, 1954 to Carlos and Fern (Hoskins) Richardson, Randy was a 1972 graduate of Plymouth (Michigan) High School and a proud member of the Plymouth Rocks' varsity basketball team. Randy was an honors student and a student council representative during his school years in Plymouth. He enjoyed summer church camps and was an avid sports fan. Randy also enjoyed swimming, water skiing, ice skating, table tennis and chess. Randy was a choir member at Ross Avenue Church of God in Hamilton, where he and his family worshiped. The family moved from Michigan back to their hometown of Hamilton in 1972. He is survived by his sister, Diane Richardson of Kettering; brother, Perry Richardson of Hamilton; niece, Rachel Richardson of Ross Township; nephew, Thomas Richardson of Ross Township; and cousins, Kim (Hoskins) and Chris Sommers of Atlanta, Georgia, Gary Ritchie Hoskins of Hamilton, Heather (Hoskins) and Tommy Senters of Seven Mile, and Donny Ellis and McKayla Wallen, also of Seven Mile. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Wade Richardson in 1976; grandmother, Virgie Ann (Blake) Hoskins in 1999; mother, Vella Fern Richardson in 2002; and uncle, Gary Hoskins in 2005. Visitation will be held from 10:30am until 12:30pm on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio. Services will be held at 12:30pm on Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Millville Cemetery. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Glen Meadows for their care over the years.
