Richard Thomas Taylor

Richard Thomas Taylor 86 of Liberty Twp., passed away peacefully Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Hospice of Hamilton with his family at his side. Richard was born April 17, 1939 in Covington, KY to the late Hubert and Gladys (Keiley) Taylor. Also preceding him death are his twin brother Robert Taylor and sister Nancy Spanton.

Richard leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 34 years Deborah (Bailey) Taylor, children Steven (Laurel) Taylor, Vicki (Vince) Cantrella, Diana (Brent) Fissell, Kahla (Chaz) Chaney. Also surviving are grandchildren Landen Taylor, Emily Taylor, Taylor (Christian) Furbay, twins Hannah and Shane Keaton, Dominic Cantrella, Ryan Harsley, Heather (Danny) Badillo, CJ Chaney, Mylah Chaney; great-grandchildren Owen and Teddy Furbay, Mason, Roman and Gianna Badillo, several nieces and nephews.

Richard was a 1957 graduate of Holmes High School in Covington, KY. He then proudly served in the USAF as an A2C from 1957 – 1961.He earned his B.S. from the University of Cincinnati and retired from Champion International Paper Company. Richard was an avid golfer, UK Basketball fan, he enjoyed coaching youth sports for many years, but most of all, he loved his family and loved being with them.

Richard’s family will receive friends at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Monday, August 4, 2025 starting at 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm with Pastor Mike Sweeney presiding. He will be buried in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Richard may be made to: Hospice of Cincinnati (www.hospiceofcincinnati.org).
