Robert M. “Bob” Patton, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away suddenly at his residence on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Bob was born in Hamilton on February 13, 1941, the son of the late Edgar Neil and Helen Lucille (Huffman) Patton. On March 7, 1975, he married his wife of over 46 years Julie A. Joskem. Bob was a special education teacher, having taught locally in Hamilton City Schools and for the Boards of Developmental Disabilities in both Butler and Clermont Counties. He was also a co-owner of Ziebart Rustproofing in Fairfield, Ohio for several years. Bob proudly served the Lord at Allison Avenue Baptist Church as a member and Deacon for over 30 years. There, he selflessly applied his love of teaching as a Sunday School teacher and founder of an adult special needs class. Bob is survived by his wife, Julie; daughter, Melissa (Buddy) Abney; son, Kristopher (Jessica) Patton; 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Francine Stempfley, brothers Don and Larry, and sister Carol. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 23 at 10:30 AM at Somerville Cemetery. Followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:30 PM at Allison Avenue Baptist Church, 5915 Allison Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45011.
