Ronald Dean Philbeck, age 64, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025 after a prolonged illness. He was surrounded by his family, who loved him dearly. Born on February 27, 1961 in Hamilton, Ohio to Benjamin Franklin and Rebecca (Feltner) Philbeck, Ron’s childhood years were spent on the family farm in Reily Township where he loved growing up as a simple country boy, riding pigs through the barnyard, playing on a makeshift slide made by propping a board against the barn, gigging frogs in the neighbor’s pond, and shoe-skating on a frozen Indian Creek. He grew from that country boy into a man who still enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved nature and the outdoors and was happiest when he had a fishing pole in his hands. In 1985, Ron met Raveena Shepherd, the love of his life, and together they raised three children. Always a hard worker, Ron worked most of his life as a mechanic and retired from his job doing small engine repair for Al-Joe’s in Hamilton. Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Raveena; his brother, James Philbeck; and two sisters, Myrtle Philbeck and April Parker. He is survived by his three children, Jason Philbeck, Tianadda Craig, and James (Becky) Shepherd; five grandchildren, Nevaeh, Lilly, Brian, Dakota, and Cherokee Rose; two brothers, Anthony (Teresa) Philbeck and Dennis (Joe) Beck; three sisters, Eunice (Steve) Maynard, Deborah Philbeck, and Elizabeth (Aaron) Jackson; along with special friends, Mark and Karen Hammack and Adam Wick. Ron’s memory will be kept in the hearts of those who loved him until we see him again in Heaven. The family will hold a private graveside service with interment in Rose Hill Burial Park. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Condolences may be left for the family at www.Webb-Noonan.com
