Shirley Rae Mueller

Shirley Rae Mueller, age 78, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at Kettering Hamilton, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 21, 1947, in Hamilton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl Bussell and Lillian (Parker) Bussell. On December 17, 1966, Shirley married the love of her life, Michael Dewey Mueller, and together they shared many devoted years of marriage. Shirley was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, whose family was the center of her life. She is survived by her husband, Michael Mueller; her children, David (Carrie) Mueller and Randy (Katie) Mueller; and her cherished grandchildren, Chris Mueller, Rachel Mueller, Lizzie Reyna, Lucy Burton, Hannah Mueller, Olivia Mueller, Isabelle (Seth Snyder) Mueller, and Ethan Mueller. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Donald (Melissa “Missy”) Trumbull, Michael (Karla) Trumbull, Randy (Marcia) Trumbull, and Christopher (Magdalene) Trumbull. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her sister, Rena Erle Botkins, and two infant grandchildren. Shirley was an active and dedicated member of Grace Wesleyan Church, where she faithfully served for many years and formerly held the position of church secretary. Her commitment to her faith and church family was a meaningful part of her life. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Hamilton, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Joe Mears officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
