Thomas Harold “Jake” Bowker, age 85 of Collinsville, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Hospice of Blue Ash. Jake was born in Hamilton on November 17, 1938, the son of the late Harold and Marie (Glomb) Bowker. He was a retired machinist and a Milford Twp. Fire Department Volunteer for over 46 years where he previously served as an Assistant Chief. Jake was also a member of Darrtown United Methodist Church. He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Barbara Kathryn (Sterling) Bowker; two children, Greg Bowker and Angie Bicknell; three grandchildren, Gregory Bowker, Rachael (Aaron) Adams and Rick (Hannah) Bicknell; two great grandchildren, Bentley and Ricky Bicknell; many nieces, nephews and friends. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Jake was also preceded in death by his siblings, Donald Bowker, Ron Bowker, Sue Brown and Jim Bowker. Gathering for family and friends will be held from 10-11am on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Darrtown United Methodist Church, 4309 Walnut Street, Oxford, Ohio 45056. Memorial ceremony will follow at 11am at the church. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made in his memory to the Milford Twp. Fire Department or Darrtown United Methodist Church.
