Vivian R. Smith

Vivian R. Smith, age 69 of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Vivian was born on April 21, 1954 in Barbourville, KY, the daughter of the late Elmer and Georgia (Smith) Hix. She married her husband, Joseph Smith, on November 10, 2018. Vivian is survived by her husband, Joseph; daughters, Melissa (Brad Coffey) Powell, Angela (Wayne) Powell, and Kimberly (Michael) Woods; grandchildren, Amber, Kristen, Jodi, Samantha, Rob, Taelor, Jaymee, Kelsey, and Luke; too many great-grandchildren to mention by name; siblings, Ron (Sherrie) Hix, Kathy Hix, and Diane (Bart) Cain; many nieces and nephews; and her dogs and cat who meant the World to her, Blue, Becca, and Callie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Georgia Hix; siblings, Charles Hix, Connie Mills, Edna Vitale, and Jim Hix; son-in-law, William Powell; and nieces and nephews, Janie, Lisa, Jimmy, Tony, and Jeff. A Visitation will be held from 5pm until 7pm on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45013. A Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Hopper Funeral Home, 302 North Broadway, Barbourville, KY 40906. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery in Barbourville, KY.
