Wanda Roberts

ROBERTS, Wanda Jean age 83, of Hamilton, Ohio died Thursday April 5, 2012 at 11:01 a.m. at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born on February 16, 1929 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of William T. and Retha (Reed) Lakes. She was educated in the Hamilton public schools. She was employed at Champion Papers, LeSourdsville Lake and the Anthony Wayne Hotel. In 1978 she married Willard Roberts. She attended Ross Christian Church. She is survived by her husband Willard; her children Lowell Bower, Sandra Hendrixson, Gregory (Candie) Bower, Vicki Brewer and Dale (Malinda) Bower; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sister Elsie Barnes; brothers Kenneth Lakes and Ronald (Barbara) Lakes; also survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Lillian Johnson and Onalee Cameron; brothers Delbert Lakes, Harold Lakes, Paul Lakes and Robert Lakes, former husband Lawrence M. Bower. Funeral Services will be Monday April 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home 3950 Pleasant Ave. Hamilton. Burial in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
