Wayne M. Day

Wayne Martin Day of Hamilton, Ohio passed away June 7, 2013 at 6am at Hospice. He was born April 3, 1947 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of Wandon M. Day and Mable (Farmer) Day. Wayne grew up in Hamilton, Ohio and was a 1965 graduate of Taft High School. Before retiring, he proudly worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator with the Union of Operating Engineers for many years. Wayne enjoyed fishing with his buddies, riding his dune-buggy, and listening to good music. He was an avid joker who loved to laugh and entertain others. Wayne is survived by his children Scott Day (Tracy) of Hamilton, Ohio, Robert Day (Erica) of Fairfield, Ohio, and Casey Riffe (Eric) of Orlando, Florida. He was the Grandfather of Carrisa Day, Adrienne Day, Ethan Riffe, Jadie Riffe, and Evan Riffe. He was the faithful brother of half-sisters Donna Williams and Debbie Day, Step Sisters Roselyn Shell and Karin Denney, all of Frankfort, Kentucky. Wayne will be greatly missed by his Mother Mable Schueler and Step-Father Bob Schueler of Hamilton, Ohio, his Love and Best Friend Paula Rose of Hamilton, Ohio and many other Family and Friends.
