William Fookes, age 70, passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2014. He was born to the late James and Velma Fookes in Detroit, Michigan on December 7, 1943. Bill was a veteran of the United States Military for 39 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary C. Fookes, of 46 years; three children Scott (Jennifer), Melissa (Michael), Shawn (Teresa); four grandchildren Joey, Jake, Samantha and Nicholas. Bill was preceded in death by his brother Larry Fookes.
