William Clarence Harding

William “Bill” Harding, 85, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on October 23, 2023. He was born on September 28, 1938, in Fredericksburg, Indiana, to the late Omar and Anna Harding. He spent most of his childhood in the small town of Burning Springs, Kentucky. Bill was a loving husband to Sue and a life-long devoted father to his son Darrin, daughter-in-law Sandhya, and daughter Amy. He was also a proud grandfather to Loralei. Bill is survived by his sister Wanda, brother David G. (Pauline), brother Charles Burton (Vera), Harold Lee, and brother James Pearl (Kim). He was preceded in death by his sister Ruth, sister Norma Jean, and brother Warren G.

Bill dedicated nearly 40 years working as a cable splicer at Cincinnati Bell. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his job. Bill took great pride in his work, but happily retired to spend his days puttering around the garage.

In his free time, Bill enjoyed indulging in his hobbies. He had a passion for classic cars and was often seen tinkering with his pride and joy, a cherry red 1953 Ford Convertible. He also had a deep appreciation for old westerns and could often be found watching them with Sue after dinner. Bill's best friends, “Shortie” and Lorraine, were always close, providing companionship, laughter, and partners for projects. Bill also had a knack for "fixing" things around the house - sometimes better than others - but always used his skills to help his loved ones whenever they needed it.

A faithful Christian, Bill attended Fairfield West Baptist Church for over 40 years. He had a deep love for the Lord and shared that freely with those around him.

Bill will be remembered for his dedication to family, hard work, and laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 from 10:30am until services at Noon as we celebrate Bill’s Life.
