William Edward Koch (Bill), age 88 of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday May 23, 2019. He was born on August 6, 1930 in Covington, Kentucky, the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Rieselman) Koch. Bill was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, stationed on the front lines as a tank commander. He had also been a volunteer firefighter for the Elsmere Fire Department. Bill was a musician, and played the organ and piano professionally. He also worked for Family Camping Center and Delightful Days RV Center. He is survived by his wife of 62+ years, Eunice (Riesenbeck) Koch. He was the father of nine children, Kathy (Scott) Santangelo, Bill Koch, Bob (Denise), Koch, Dave Koch, Karen Koch, Mike Koch, Joe (Erin) Koch, Danny (Becky) Koch and Krista (Jim) Kentley; 24 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his son, Dave, siblings Jack Koch and Rosemary Rebel, and his Great Grandson, Gabriel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 29, 2019 at St. Barbara Church, 4042 Turkeyfoot Road Erlanger, KY 41018 from 4pm to 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday May 30, 2019 at 10am at the church. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. Bill was an advocate for children in numerous organizations.
