I used to run into Kuma at Denningers a lot. Sometimes I would offer to take her home but the last time we met up she suggested we go for coffee so I said I'll bring you to our house instead of Horton's. We had a wonderful, funny visit that lasted from 2 pm until about 7:30, she just did 't want to go home, it was a great afternoon listening to Mike and her talk about back home and reminisce. She always called on Sveta Jana and we laughed and talked. We will miss her phone calls.

Dearest Branko and family,

Our deepest condolences on the loss of your Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother.

I will always have fond memories of how Kum and Kuma always helped and visited my Grandmother Kata. They would bring your boys and my Grandmother and I on picnics to the Botanical Gardens which were always very fun.

In recent years anytime we met Kuma at a function or dinner her ever-present sharp wit and wisdom made it an absolute pleasure to converse with her.

Kuma, Počivaj u miru Božjem
