Andrew was a great friend especially for traveling.  We first met in Myrtle Beach with Dwight and my sister Nicole in 1990.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Praying for your peace and comfort during this difficult time.  Andrew will be greatly missed by  his colleagues here at the DAU.  My deepest condolences to you and your family.

My deepest condolences to the Irving family during this difficult time. I have served with WO Irving for over 30 years  and his last position within the regiment was my SSM and fire team partner. We always instructed on driver's courses together over the years.  He will be greatly missed, not only by our regiment, but by me and my family.  Rest in peace Swirv. Rounds complete, end of mission.

It was with deep sadness and shock that I learned of Warrant Officer Irving's passing.  Our time together was short but I quickly grew to respect Andrew as a dedicated young man, eager to learn, corageous and cheerful through any adversity. He quickly gained the trust of his fellow Signallers and as a mark of frienship became known as  "Swerve".  I remember him coming off an arduous assault course, tired,  sweaty, and eshausted but ready to go again. It was this spirit that gained him the friendship,  and respect given by those who knew him.
My time knowing him was short, yet a pleasure, for he was a fellow member of 705 (Hamilton) Communication Squadron.

Although I didn't work directly with Andrew,  I saw him many times at the office over the years.  He was always courteous to say hello and sometimes we had a little chat about one thing or another. 
His absence is deeply felt in our branch. He left us too soon.

My deepest condolences to Andrew’s family. I had the honour and pleasure of serving with him at 705 Comm SQN/31 Signal Regiment for 15 years. He was a very reliable soldier who could always be counted on for the most challenging of training exercises. He was well respected and liked by his fellow Signallers. He has passed away at far too young an age.  God Bless.

I am shocked at the untimely and unexpected passing away of Andrew Irving.  Gone too soon. My prayers and thoughts are with Andrew's family.

To Andrew's family: I was not in Andrew's unit, but in my career with Hamilton Militia District, then 31 Canadian Brigade Group, I continually ran into Andrew on exercise and in garrison. I last saw and spoke with him on Remembrance Day this year. He was one of the soldiers who "was always there" doing his duty, and doing it nobly and well. I am greatly saddened by his very untimely passing, and he will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family and many friends and comrades in arms. I can hear the Last Post and Rouse playing now on Remembrance Day, and now playing for Andrew. He has done his duty to his community and country.

Love you so much and will miss your phone calls and warm expressions of family connection.

I first met Andrew in middle school and knew him through the military as well; he would always greet people with a smile and had time to say hello. I was sad to learn of his passing and I offer my sincere condolences to his friends and family. Rest in peace, Andrew.

My deepest condolences to Andrew’s family. Though I haven’t seen him in quite a few years , my memories of him was always positive and happy. He was a great guy and is sadly missed.

So sorry to hear of Andrews passing. He worked for me as a member of 705 Comm Sqn for a couple of years in Hamilton. Always had a positive attitude and was always smiling. RIP Andrew.

I was lucky enough to be the Chief Clerk at 31 Sigs and had the great pleasure of getting to know Andrew. He was one of the kindest men I met during my career and always had the biggest smile.
His professionalism was evident in every parade, exercise etc he was a part of and it was an honour to have worked with him.

On behalf of all members of 31 Signal Regiment, we extend our sincere condolences to all members of the Irving Family.  WO Andrew Irving was a key member of our Regiment whose professionalism, dedication and great work ethic were an excellent example for all junior leaders.  He participated in many domestic and Northern operations and truly practiced "service before self".  WO Irving trained many junior Signalers and his legacy will live on through all members of 31 Signal Regiment who had the honour and privilege of serving with him over the past 32 years.  He will be truly missed.  We will remember him!
