My situation growing up was never the best when I first met Andrew, but when I seen him he always made my worst days the best. He was always smiling, always happy, always so positive. He was one of the first true and best friends I’ve ever had. Andrew taught me a lot throughout our friendship. He showed me what true strength was; How to take a badly dealt hand and still make the best of it; Guided me into being a man i want to become, and so much more. He always put himself into anything he did and he always succeeded. 

We lost someone special. But he definitely left a mark in this world, a mark so we could always remember him by. A mark where he is never truly gone.

I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Andrew for four years while I was involved in school health care.  He was an absolute delight to visit and was always so gracious about my visits.  He never complained and was always so warm and so kind even if my visits were disruptive to his routine.   He is one of those kids I never stopped thinking about when I left my role in school health and I will always remember him.   I'm blessed to have had him invite me into his life (even though, truthfully, I dropped into it as far as he was concerned :)). 
To Andrew's family: you brought a beautiful soul into this world and the world was lucky to have had him.  

I know I am a little late but I had a lot to think about. First off I  just want to extend my condolences to the Taylor Family and I'm sending you all my love and strength to get through this horrid situation. Andrew  to me was one of my best mates in the survey as I wasn't really liked. Unlike everyone else he never judged me, called me names or made fun of me in any shape or form. He was honestly an amazing person I could always talk to and he never complained about anything. He always played with us and we always made a way for him to play no matter what sport it was. Even when it was hard for him to participate he always did and thinking about it he was really selfless and cared more about others having fun before himself. I'll never forget when we used to kill the pokemon game and you showed me so many things and it was just the best. I remember even when I fought with Mea, Andrew would talk to me and explain to me how to fix things and what not to do etc. I really wish I got to spend more time with him as I left a little early before our prime teen years. He always told me he was a giant and he was bigger than me XD he was always very humorous and he was just the best. After doing research and finding out that he knew what he knew really made me appreciate him so much more. He was a legend because he knew what kind of life he would have yet he never once hinted at it. Instead he chose to smile and make others laugh. All in all I was too young to understand how important Andrew was to my life and how much I needed a friend like him. Thank you for everything you've done. One day I wish to visit him once more but until then I love you Andrew, you are one of my best ever friends and we'll all meet again to play another game. At Ray Lewis, our Resource Room was always buzzing with students. It was like a large family who had so many good times together. Anyone who visited us couldn't miss Andrew. He often sported a Maple Leaf jersey and had a cheeky sense of humour. I remember our banter together (I'm a Habs fan), the games we all played with each other, and that infectious smile of his. If students were was sad or angry, a few minutes with Andrew always seemed to help them.  I admire so much how you shared yourself with so many others in that room. You were part of our family, and I miss you buddy.  May you rest in peace.

I will always remember Andrew's smiling face and smart witty comments. Andrew and our son Mathew were good friends at Ray Lewis and we are heart broken and our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family words can not explain.

For the limited amount of time I knew Andrew I remember him always having a big smile on his face and always being happy, I remember walking beside him and going in circles for hours just talking and laughing.  It hurts and makes me sad to learn of his passing. My condolences to his family. Rest easy Andrew. 

My heart breaks hearing the news of Andrew’s passing. I was lucky to have been part of his educational journey from his grade one year to his grade eight graduation.  His smile was infectious and he never let anything get him down.  It was always a pleasure teaching him and having him visit my classroom.  I loved our lunch time visits.  It was an honour to have known him  and been part of his life.  You will always live on in my heart.

I was sadden to hear about the passing of Andrew.  I had the privilege of teaching him at Ray Lewis School when he was in grade four.  Andrew was always happy and positive which made him a wonderful role model for others.  His sweet and funny personality made everyone want to be his friend.  My condolences to his family during this difficult time.

Thou the time spent with you was brief.The strength and inspiration given was eternal, Andrew,dear Nephew.Always remembered and loved.Uncle Brett,Aunt Kim and Family.

Every year at Ray Lewis Graduation, our principal will include a speech to the graduates that includes a question: What will be your Legacy? I don’t think I have ever met a student, or anyone, that will leave a Legacy quite like Andrew... he was the epitome of “treat others the way you wish to be treated”. I have so many wonderful memories of him, but my favourite will always be his smile. That smile could light up a room, and was always ready to shine. His sense of humour was a delight, and he often got my jokes when other students did not.  It was an absolute pleasure to teach Andrew. Even though he was here for such a short time, the impact he had on so many people is evident by the tributes and memories posted here. I will never forget him; nor, I suspect, will anyone who knew him. Andrew I will miss you, but it is not goodbye, it is until we meet again. ❤️ 

Thinking of you all during this time. Andrew always had a huge smile on his face whenever you saw him. Yous have so many wonderful memories that will live on forever. 


I have so many memories,  I truly do not know where to start. Andrew was the most patient, kind, thoughtful,  selfless, caring person with the best sense of humor. I cherish my memories and always admired him ♥  I remember when my son Alex went to his first comic-con with him, Alex came home with a huge knife that Andrew suggested he start collecting 🤣 (again thanks for that Andrew) I remember running him home in the rain trying to carefully hold the umbrella over his head, to protect his chair from the rain. He would go quicker and quicker, getting a kick out of me not being able to breathe and saying Andrew your mom will kill us if it gets wet. I remember sitting with him while he was sick and was on a breathing machine, while Michelle ran to the grocery store.I spent the time asking him constantly if he needed me with the phone in hand in case something happened. He spent the whole time asking ME if I was ok and trying to calm ME down 🤣 Thats who he was, an old soul who was put on this earth to give lessons on being kind always, and smiling in spite of hardships. One of my favorite memories was Andrews 16th birthday,  we all went to the drive-in, including our younger children.  Well we stupidly went and saw Sausage Party... not knowing what it was. Oh the looks we got from everyone 🤣  Andrew thought it was hilarious, as did we after the fact 😆. The picture Im including I took years ago at a Easter Egg hunt we went too. You can see the smirk on his face cause I was always bugging for pictures. You are so loved Andrew, just because we can't see or touch you anymore, I will feel your spirit forever ❤  I'm thankful for all the years and all the laughs and all the love. It touched my heart to know I was in your memory box, you will forever be in my memory box, my ❤. Rest in peace,  I hope your dancing up there! Its true that only the good die young, and Andrew you were truly the best!

I remember babysitting Andrew when we were young, he was always great, such a huge help and always looking out for his little sisters. What an amazing kid❤️ So happy to have known him, and this beautiful family.

When I first meet Andrew he was all shy and wouldn’t say a Wold to me . Then one day his sister mea came up to me and said my brother likes you and run away. Andrew was the most sweetest guy. We would always have sleeps over. One day he fight me me flowers and asked if I wanted to go on a date with him to the movies I still remember leaving school early to go get all dressed up for him ❤️ I have never seen him smile so much when we went and watched the movie I was his first Girlfriend 
         I will miss you so much Andrew

I’ll never forget how much of a joy It was to be around Andrew, I remember in elementary him and I would basically sit together everyday and if there was group work  he was always in my group ( for the most part) also all the good times him and I had in the resource room during lunch. From that to high school the first two years always being on the same bus as him and always bugging him because he was a leafs fan and i was a habs fan. I could go on but anyway. we shall Cross paths again soon. Rest easy legend ❤️ 

I used to be Andrew's bus driver to and from school.  He was my favorite student.  Always respectful, polite, fun to tease and really easy to get along with.  Andrew loved school.  I was always very proud to call him my friend.  May you rest in pease Andrew and my prayers and thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.  I will miss and never forget you Andrew

Andrew was such a sweet and cool kid. He was part of my sons 'survey crew' and highly regarded by Ireal. I remember him always being a  polite and very respectful child. Im really sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in Eternal Paradise.

He was such an awesome brother to Mea and Maddy. Mea was a good friend of mine, we used to be very close neighbours and it breaks my heart hearing about this, knowing that he was someone i knew. I remember Andrew was always outside in the neighborhood just watching us play when we were kids. He would always come say hi to us and we would tag him along with us during our little games or when Mea and i went grocery shopping we would bring him along and those days were so fun!! Fly high❤️ 

I remember coming over to your house all the time  and me and mea would go into his room and annoy him any chance we got.
