She leaves behind son Danny (Sue) and grandchildren Ryan, Colleen, Julia, and Madison. Predeceased by her husband James (Mr. Ti-Cat), brother Michael Novak, and sisters Olga Kachur, and Jean Simeonidis. Survived by her brother-in-law Angelo Simeonidis. She also leaves behind numerous devoted and caring nieces and nephews who have joyously shared her lifes journey. Angie will be fondly remembered for her vivacious enthusiasm, energetic soul, love of family and friends, culinary skills and for her love of the Hamilton Tiger Cats and euchre. She was an active member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral for over 60 years, a member of the Ukrainian Womens Association of Canada and an active volunteer at Taras Schevchenko Home for the Aged.
Visitation will be held at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. If so desired, donations may be made to St. Peter's Hospital Palliative Care Program or a charity of your choice.
