She was the beloved sister of Dolly Edwards and an aunt to many, who loved her dearly. Ann was born and raised in Hamilton and after moving from Alpha Street, she grew up in the close-knit community on Orlanda Road in Stoney Creek with her family living on the same street. Ann was a strong and resilient woman who faced many challenges in her life, but she never lost her spirit or her love for her family and friends. She was a hard worker who took pride in her career, and she always went above and beyond to help those in need. Starting as a clerk on the shipping docks of Hamilton she rose to the lofty executive offices of global trade not far from Bay St. in Toronto. Not one to be far from the gritty action of the docks and warehouse district, she fit in seamlessly into the corporate board rooms of commodity exchange and was respected for her no-nonsense attitude. Ann's family was her greatest joy in life, and she was a loving and devoted sister, aunt, and friend. She had a big heart and was always there for those who needed her, no matter who, where, what, or when. Her family will remember her for her warm smile, and her unwavering love and support. Ann's passing is a great loss to her family and friends, but her memory will live on forever in their hearts. Her kindness, generosity, and strength will continue to inspire those who knew her, and her legacy will be remembered for generations to come.
