Peacefully, in her 85th year on March 20, 2011 after a courageous battle with numerous strokes at the Hamilton General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Robert (Bozo) Kuchan. Loving mother of June Smithson (John) and Janet Watts (Alan). Cherished grandma of Sean, Lorne, Carl, Chad and Erica. Survived by brother John (Audrey) Skurnac and predeceased by sister Mary and brother-in-law, Frenchy Blaschuk. Will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Oczkowski, nurses Debbie D., Colleen and all staff involved with Annie's care at B2 North Stroke and Rehabilitation Centre. Visiting will be held at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. East on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church on Thursday, March 24, at 9:30 a.m. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
