Anna "Anni" Kolmanko (née Ruschka) (formerly Handler)

Anni was born on January 12, 1935, in Liesingau, Austria. She was the cherished mother and mother-in-law of Ferdinand and Theresia Handler, and Gerald Handler, and a proud Oma to Michael and Anna-Helene Handler, all of Austria.

Anni was dearly loved by Lisa and Ornelio Lombardi, Monika and Tony Cocchiara, and Nadia and Sershen Govender. She was a devoted Omamma to Vince, Vienna, Apollo, and Jada.

She was predeceased by her beloved mother Cecilia Fadinger, her stepfather, Franz Fadinger, her father Ferdinand Steinegger, her sister, Barbara Brandl, her first husband, Ferdinand Handler, all of Austria, and by her husband, William Kolmanko of Hamilton.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers at Bayshore HealthCare especially Ivana, as well as the dedicated staff at Albright Manor, for the exceptional care, kindness, and dignity they provided to Anni during her final years and months. Their support and compassion will always be remembered with sincere appreciation.

Honouring Anni's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Albright Foundation or West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation.
