HILL, Arlene Joanne (nee Parker) Surrounded by her family, with dignity and enormous courage, and her everlasting faith in God, Arlene passed into the arms of the Lord, on Monday, May 27, 2013. Beloved wife of George D. Hill for 54 years, dearly loved mother of Steven Garnet (Kim) and William David (Dolly). Precious Nana to the greatest treasures in her life: Alexis, Joshua, Jake, Hanna, Connor, Riley, Brendan and Brittany. Predeceased by her father Garnet (1954), and mother Constance (1968), brother Gerald (2004) (Stella). She will live on in the hearts of her extended family Brenda and Gina (daughters in love). Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering honouring Arlene, will be held at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth), on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
