It is with profound sadness that our beloved father, grandfather and uncle passed away peacefully at the home of his daughter Dawn, on Saturday, December 30th in his 90th year. Predeceased by his wife Mary. Loving Father of Colleen, Elton (Beverley), Dawn, Trevor (Tracy), and Gillian. Devoted Grandpa and Papa to Sherwin, Jonathan, Alyssa, Jordan, Justin, Janôi, Dáen, Montáhna, Zackary, and Tiffany. Dear brother of Albert (predeceased). He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends in the United States, and Guyana. Special thanks to his caregivers, Dawn, Elton, and Yvonne. Visitation at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford Ave.), Hamilton (905-528-6303) on Thursday, January 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 5th at 11a.m. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Arthur to the Alzheimer’s Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
