Bernard Joseph Tilley

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Villa on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Elizabeth. Cherished father of Mandy Tilley (Jim Davis), and B.J. (Anna Presa). Proud grandfather of Jennifer, Cody, Laura, Melissa, Brandi, and Ashley and great-grandfather of Nate and Landon. Survived by his siblings Paul (Sandra), David, Jimmy, Linda (Gordon), Elaine, and Brenda (Brian). Predeceased by his siblings Albert, Phyllis, Dennis, Helen, and Bobby. Bernard will always be remembered as a kind, warm, and gentle man who loved hard, who loved a good drink and singing a song. He lived his life for his family and they will always be grateful for that. A loving husband, father, grandfather, he will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King St E. Hamilton, (at the Delta) on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
