GRIFFIN, Blanche Irene Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Joseph's Hospital on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at the age of 90. Gone to be reunited with her beloved husband Melvin. Loving mother of Doug, Rick, Bob, Gloria, Chuck (Gloria), Mary Rose (Doug) and the late Dennis. Cherished grandma to 18 grandchildren. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her sister Barb, sister-in-law Lillian Brierly and many other family and friends. The family will receive friends at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East at Kenilworth on Sunday, July 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, July 25th at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
