It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Blanka on September 21, 2026 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late John (Jozo). Loving mother of Betty Plourde (Guy), Joe Keca (the late Lucy) and Victor Keca (Odesia). Cherished Baka to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by family and friends in Canada, Slovenia and Croatia. Our mom was dedicated to her family and opened her home to everyone who came to visit. She always loved to cook, garden, dance and enjoy life. Special thanks to the staff of Macassa Lodge for their exceptional care. Visitation at Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, on Thursday, September 24 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm with Prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 10 am. Entombment Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
