Boris "Bob" Desjaterik

5 January, 193826 April, 2021

Bob passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.

He will forever be missed by his cherished wife Nancy of 54 years. Beloved father of Nancy Lee Hughes (Mike) and Linda Winchester (Jeff). Grampy will never be forgotten by his grandchildren, Lindsay Faddies (Jimmy) and Grayson Desnoyers . He will be greatly missed by his sister Helen Stogiannis (Mike). Fond memories of Uncle Bob will always be remembered by his nephew Greg Stogiannis (Lina) and his niece Jenny Stogiannis and their families. He will be missed by many neighbours and friends. Special thank you to Brad and Joanne Bechtel. Our deepest gratitude to Bayshore Home Care Solutions for their care and compassion and PSWs . Thank you to Dr. Major and his team at Juravinski Cancer Centre. Bob loved a good game of 31 and loved to play washer toss. In keeping with Bob’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at Woodland Cemetery , his final resting place.

Bob was always very good to Me and I always enjoyed our conversations of history, the war and old cars and our music. He and Nancy did a wonderful job raising My wife Nancy and Linda.He was a wonderful and caring Granpy to Our son Grayson and Lindsay always thinking of them. I will miss Him and remember him all the days of My life.
