When I heard the news I was in a loss and greatly saddened.
I fell back on the 30 plus year Journey working closely together with Bruce. The beautiful memories I have of him are countless. His unique wonderful character and personality gave him the ability to connect to our clients.
He motivated and encouraged them like no one else could.
When we (staff) we're challenged by a client and second-guessed our own approach he would in his amazing style say, " Stay the course".
He retired only one year ago... and feel like we lost him twice.
His great name will echo in our office for many many years to come.
My very deepest sympathies to you Debbie and your beautiful family.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Some of the best laughs of my adult life were triggered in some way, shape or form by Bruce. He will remain fondly in my memory and will continue to put a smile on my face when I think of him. This is truly a gift from him to me that I will cherish for the rest of my life. My sincerest sympathies to you and yours. May he rest in peace.

I have known Bruce for probably 30 years in my role as a consultant to the different childcare teams he was part of. I have appreciated his deep sense of caring for the youth we serviced and his capacity to balance the serious discussions we had with his never failing humour. My condolences to the family. I was fortunate enough to work with Bruce for years. He had a rare ability to connect and build relationships with even the most difficult and challenging youth. His sense of humor kept all of us laughing through good days and bad alike. There will never be another like him and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
