Loving mother of Kyle and Stephanie (Brett). Cherished nonnie of Benjamin. Adored daughter of Caterina and the late Maurizio Capano. Dear sister of Pina (Joe), Frank (Joanne), Maria (Brent), the late Luciano, Annette (Ray) and the late Marcella. Carmela will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, family and friends. Carmela has touched the hearts of everyone she met. She lived life with grace, strength and kindness, leaving a lasting mark on this world. Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories. The memories and life lessons shared by her will never be forgotten and her children will miss her profoundly. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of life to be held at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 6-9 pm.
