Damir Krznaric

Beloved husband and best friend of Nada for 38 wonderful years. Proud father of Marko (Chandra), and Filip (Kenzie). Predeceased by his parents Josip and Mira. Survived by his step-father Jovica and his loving sister Snjezana both of Croatia. Damir will be dearly missed by his mother-in-law Ivka, sister-in-law Durda (Branko), nieces Anita (Domagoj), Maja (Antonio) as well as his extended family and friends in Canada and Croatia. A 20 year employee of Dofasco, Damir will be missed by his colleagues. He loved playing his guitar and table tennis but there was nothing he loved more than his family. He will always be lovingly remembered by all of those who knew and loved him. The family wishes to thank the wonderful team at St. Joseph's Hospital for their care and compassion.

Visitation at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. Vigil Prayers at 4 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church, 1883 King Street East, Hamilton on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery. Donations to Holy Cross Church would be appreciated.
