Daphne DiFrancesco

She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her most, offering support, wisdom and love in abundance. She touched the lives of all who knew her and who felt her warmth and generosity. Predeceased by her loving spouse Vic in 2014. Loving mother of Rick (Anna, nee Battista), Sandra DiFrancesco, and Janet and Drew Robertson. Adoring grandmother to Sofia and Serena DiFrancesco, and Mitchell and Blake Harrington. Dear great-aunt of Thomas Evans. Predeceased by her parents Alan and Sally North, brother Barry, sisters Marian Evans and Audrey Anderson. She will be sadly missed by many friends and cousins.

Daphne was a retired nurse from St. Joseph’s Hospital where she mainly worked as an IV nurse for over 30 years. In her retirement she, along with her loving husband Vic ran O’Driscoll’s Pub and Eatery in their community where they brought together many neighbors and friends. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable lady.

Resting at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton with visitation on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
