Surrounded by her family, Debra suddenly passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Friday, March 22nd, 2024 at the age of 69.
Debra was the loving mother to Leanne Traplin (Matt) and Andrew (Sue). Proud grandmother to Kara, Abby, Erin, Calum, and Isabel. Dear sister to Marg.
Debra is predeceased by her husband of 42 years, James, her parents Ronald and Catherine, her brothers Ron and Dave, her sister Ann, and her brothers-in-law Brian (Marg) and Carmen (Ann).
Debra was known for her loving smile, infectious laugh, and her compassionate nature. She was a ray of sunshine on the cloudiest of days. In retirement Debra enjoyed traveling, weekly Euchre groups, gardening, and camping.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Moose Lodge (1860 Barton St. E., Hamilton) on Saturday, March 30th from 7-9 pm.
